2010 PLAYOFFS, HERE WE COME!

The Mohawks (24-12) clinched a playoff spot by trumping the Diamond Dawgs (13-19) 4-1. Jon Schwind picked up three hits and three runs batted in as Kyle Hunter scored his fifth win of the year.
Hunter worked out of jams in the first and second, allowing only one unearned run. He made it through six with five strikeouts and one walk. Abram Williams picked up his 11th save by working a perfect ninth.
Schwind finished a home run away from the cycle, helping the Tribe take the season series from Mohawk Valley four games to three. TJ Jones snapped out of his slump with three hits, including a double, and two runs scored. Taylor Lewis extended his hitting streak to 13.
The Mohawks are in the playoffs and have a magic number of 5 to clinch first in the division. Tomorrow�s game in Watertown begins at 7:05.
