Mohawks in the Majors

Chandler Shepherd (2012-Kentucky)

-Beginning his 7th pro season and 2nd with the Orioles
-Started last season with the Red Sox and was claimed off waivers by the Cubs and Orioles
-Made his MLB debut with the Orioles on 8/13/19 against the Yankees and recorded his first strikeout against Aaron Judge

Trey Wingenter (2013-Auburn)

-Beginning his 6th pro season with the Padres
-Appeared in 51 games for San Diego last year with a 1-3 record and 1 save
-Recorded 72 strikeouts in 51 innings
-Fastball frequently hits 100 mph

Hunter Pence (2002-UT Arlington)

-Beginning his 17th pro season and 14th in the majors
-Played for the Texas Rangers last season
-Hit .297 in 83 games with 17 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 59 RBI, 53 runs and stole 6 bases
-Named an AL All-Star
-Resigned with the San Francisco Giants for the 2020 season

Luke Maile (2010-11 Kentucky)

-Beginning his 9th pro season and 6th in the majors
-Appeared in 44 games behind the plate with the Blue Jays and hit 2 home runs
-Also pitched in 2 games, didn't allow a run in 2 innings with 1 hit and 3 strikeouts
-Signed with the Pitsburgh Pirates for the 2020 season

Matt Quatraro (1993-Old Dominion)

-Third Base Coach for the Rays in 2019
-Named the 10th Bench Coach in Rays history on October 31
-Rays won the Wild Card with a 96-66 record, finishing 2nd in the AL East
-Defeated the A's in the Wild Card game and lost to the Astros in the Division Series

Ricky Pacione (2008, 10 Marist)

-Beginning his 7th season as the Indians Bullpen Catcher
-Indians went 93-69 in 2019, finsihing 2nd in the AL Central
