Amsterdam 1 Oneonta 0 (Game One) Box Score

The Amsterdam Mohawks clinched the East Division with a 1-0 win over the Oneonta Outlaws in game one of a doubleheader.

The Mohawks scored the game’s lone run in the second inning on a Marcus Still RBI single.

Griffin Roberts tossed four shutout innings to earn the win in the seven inning game. Chase Haney notched the save while Caleb Armour threw a complete game in taking the loss.

Amsterdam 7 Oneonta 2 (Game Two) Box Score

The Amsterdam Mohawks limited the Oneonta Outlaws to just two hits as they swept the Outlaws in a doubleheader.

A Tristen Carranza RBI single in the first inning gave Amsterdam an early 1-0 lead. Then in the third, Teddy Cillis hit a two-run double and Terrence Pinkston hit an RBI single to extend the lead to 4-0. A Yale Hughes RBI single in the bottom of the third scored Oneonta’s first run of the game. The Mohawks scored a lone run in the fourth before each team plated a run in the fifth.

Mike Bonaiuto earned the win for Amsterdam while Mark Giallanzo took the loss for Oneonta.
